So last weekend I had the wagon out to a wedding, and after the marriage there was a few hours until the reception so I took the wagon for a cruise.
So I get back and was noticing the car was idling a couple hundred RPM lower then it should, so I pulled the air cleaner off and "BOOM" the idle jumped up!!
Now I am running a big single snorkle air cleaner from a 69 440 with the tube cut off. I also have a K&N air filter in this as well.

So I am assuming that I am not getting enough air flow into the carb through the air cleaner and this is what's bogging down the motor? I'm going to cut another hole on the other side of the air cleaner, about where the second tube would have been, and see if that helps.
I have never had this problem before...anyone else run into this?
