Value of these parts? |

Last week an opportunity knocked on my door and I couldn't resist. I picked up a complete original set of 1966 Chrysler Budd bisc brake spindles/splash
shields/ rotors with hubs/ calipers & hardware. All apparently in good operable condition and the calipers were supposedly rebuilt recently. I'm just
planning to clean up and resell. Anyone have an idea of what they would typically sell for? Help appreciated, thanks.

No idea Brent...I usually gloss over sets I see on E-bay and other sites, since it really doesn't affect me and I really have no reason to "know"
what they are going for...Sorry.

Something you might want to try is calling to a few yards see what they would sell it for if they had it. |

Yeah, I've never had stuff like this either. I figure it will appeal to the die-hard purists, and thats about it. For the amount I paid, I figured it was
worth taking a chance. Ebay isn't really a benchmark either, it depends on who's looking when.

Those Budd brakes are for the purists. If they're looking for the Budds specifically, they'll pay top dollar for them. The down side is, not many
people are looking for them. So it's a matter of timing. Guys doing disk brake conversions know to stay away from them so they're not your market
either.
Hold on to them long enough (years?), they'll pay off big time, but for a quick flip? I dunno..... |

Toss a free ad on the C-body boards and moparts and just wait it out...someone will want those parts eventually.
I've been trying to sell the 14" x 6.5" rims that originally came on my wagon for probably 2 years. I have a 5 rims and only asking $100 cdn, think I finally have a buyer now. I had never seen a stock mopar 14" rim this wide before and figured it would be an easy sell.....but obviously not.
