Alcohol Funny Car Hemi Status

Greetings

A couple of years ago i'd posted some information on the slab side Stageway limousines. I've seen various photos of the '65 through '70 modela and have a few brochures on them, but have never seen the real goods. I'd be curious to hear if any of the members either have one of the Stageways, ( of any year ) in particular a '65 -68 slab side.

I've seen pics of two stretched 66 New Yorkers that started out as town sedans and were stretched at the B-pillar. At least I think they were two different ones; one was on eBay and another a private internet sale IIRC. I don't believe they were Stageways though.

Bought this in July 1992, the car was owned by a church in Otsego, Michigan and was used to pickup elderly for Sunday services. Before that it was used as a Funeral Home car in Three Rivers, Michigan.

Found it. This was on eBay in Dec, 2006. Final price was $2500. Running car but needed brake work.

Wow that 66 sure is something!!

That's a lot of seats and a lot of armests with ashtrays!!

Great photos Mike ! ! ! The "Ear muff " trim appears to identify the unit as a Stageway/Armbruster. Can't be a lot of them left out there. The limo builders are one of the last trades crafting sheet metal out side of the rod customizers.
