Bought off ebay for $1000 a few years ago, not running but pretty much complete...only 2 others bid on it and I won??? Where were you guys??? Although I didn't know it at first, I got a pretty good deal. Earlier this year, 6 bid on just a hood and trunk deck..and it was up to $1100???
(sorry to the 56Ker's if pic is to big)

Re: C body Pictures | ||

Everything except the A/C works now. Everything bolt, including the $1000 to buy it added up to $10,961 so far. Now its worth... what...$15,000???...I really don't know. I did almost all the work myself. This is not a trailer, parade or show queen. I use it every sunny day to get to work and go places. I knew I could never get it back to the way it rolled off the assembly line so I took some "artistic license" and slightly changed a few things that Chrysler did that was just ugly or stupid....only the true mopar nuts will notice the changes....I can see 6 things I've changed in the pic...can you??

Most people here know of my car, newcomers may not. Anyway I think these were taken last summer (my dad had taken them at a local show 'n shine).
'69 Monaco 2-dr hardtop, 383-2bbl, about 62,000 original miles. Original X9 black car with H4S pewter/black interior which was peculiar to Canadian models
only for the Dodge series. The car is all original except for newer paint and rechromed bumpers, virtually all the trim, interior etc is original to the car.

Meet "Chaz the Chizzler", my 1967 300 coupe | ||
As found, in 2004
a bit rough. Apparently there was a battery
explosion/fire at some point, note the ding in the front bumper
Better shot of the ding and the broken grille
Damaged R Front wheel trim and broken bumper to fender filler And the typical toasted interior from the Central Valley heat here in California, as well as wear and tear over 40 years
Rough, but all there for the most part. Now, let me fastforward to this month, June 2008
I had a little extra sound deadening added to the floor. It's basically a spray on bed liner material
More stuff to come; A set of American Racing Vector SE wheels with modified center caps (300 logo stickers for '79 Cordoba 300 rear lenses added to 'em), 440Source aluminum "Stealth" cylinder heads, Bob "Mr 6 Pack" Karakashian automatic transmission grind 440 cam, Holley Street Dominator intake with a Demon Sizzler rebuilt '73 6322 ThermoQuad carb, Ansen cast black wrinkle-finish valve covers for the engine with blue-printing, yadda yadda yadda, plus tweaks to the Torqueflite (2-3 Kickdown and shift kit), probably a TTI dual exhaust system, electronic ignition, and a Truetrac thrown into the rear, for good measure. What y'all think? |
